MYRA DAVIES

ballet producer, dance critic, mentor to Skinny Puppy, to mention a few previous incarnations), provides the
intellectual ballast for MIASMA's trans-Atlantic dream. It is her voice that, with hypothermal timbre, recounts
miniature dramas.
Her words have the effect of a breath of freezing air; the chills cut but the spirit is refreshed.
GUDRUN GUT
( Ex-Mania D., Malaria, Einstürzende Neubauten & Matador and the driving force behind the current project Ocean Club),
has made a name for herself in Berlin and beyond with countless projects. Gut's music, though exclusively
electronic, attains an atmospheric density and archaic mysticism that makes it almost timeless. It is
techno-romanticism; at times severe, at other times playful. The beat is not merely backing the lyrics;
music and words interact and depend on each other.
